DADA DOUBLE DATES. Almond joy edition.

Melt your chocolate with coconut oil in the microwave in 15-20 second increments until smooth and glossy.

Take two dates, pit them and open them up until they are flat but both halves are still connected. Stuff each date with about 1/2 tbsp almond butter (i eyeballed this). On just one date, add almonds for crunch, and coconut. Sandwich both the dates together and press together gently until you’ve created a date sandwich.

Dip in melted chocolate until completely coated and transfer to a parchment lined baking sheet. Sprinkle with coconut and flaky sea salt. Repeat with as many dates as you’d like. Freeze for about 45 minutes until the chocolate has hardened. Let thaw slightly before enjoying.
